Kyle Jacobs, The Songwriter And Spouse Of Singer Kellie Pickler, Has Passed Away At The Age Of 49

Kyle Jacobs, a country music producer and songwriter, who starred in the CMT docuseries “I Love Kellie Pickler” alongside his wife, has passed away at the age of 49 in their Nashville home, according to authorities.

The cause of death appears to be suicide. Kellie Pickler, a singer and television personality who rose to fame on Season 5 of “American Idol,” reported to the police that she could not find her husband and he was later discovered in an upstairs bedroom/office.

Jacobs had worked with a number of renowned country music artists, including Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson, and Tim McGraw, and won an Academy of Country Music Award for his production work on Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your Truck” in 2014.
